Role Overview
The Assistant Director – Membership (Corporate / Institutional) will be responsible for acquiring, onboarding, and managing Corporate and Institutional Members for WORSO. The role focuses on expanding WORSO’s membership base, building long-term relationships, and ensuring effective delivery of WORSO activities, benefits, and engagement programs to members.
Key Responsibilities
Membership Acquisition & Growth
- Identify, approach, and onboard Corporate and Institutional Members (corporates, universities, colleges, schools, R&D centers, skill institutions)
- Promote WORSO membership value propositions, benefits, and engagement opportunities
- Achieve membership acquisition and renewal targets
Member Relationship Management
- Act as the primary relationship manager for assigned corporate and institutional members. Ensure smooth onboarding and activation of membership benefits
- Maintain regular communication to understand member needs and expectations
Member Servicing & Engagement
- Facilitate member participation in WORSO programs, events, competitions, conferences, workshops, and networking activities
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver promised services and benefits
Business Development & Upselling
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional WORSO offerings such as events, competitions, partnerships, branding opportunities, and special initiatives
- Cross-sell relevant programs aligned with member objectives
Coordination & Execution
- Work closely with events, operations, marketing, and partner teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Support execution of district, zonal, national, and international WORSO activities involving members
Reporting & Data Management
- Maintain accurate records of members, contracts, renewals, and engagement activities
- Track KPIs related to membership growth, retention, and revenue
- Prepare periodic reports for senior management
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred)
- 6–10 years of experience in membership sales, corporate relations, institutional sales, or partnership management
- Experience working with industry bodies, associations, education or skill ecosystems is an advantage
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
